The purchase age will stay at 18, meaning younger drinkers won't be the scapegoat for the drinking problem in our society. The Green Party will be pushing for changes to seriously address the important factors of availability, price, and advertising – things that would actually make a difference to drinking-related harm – that have been masked by a focus on alcohol purchase age.
