Global Mining Investing $69.95, 2 Volume e-Book Set. Buy here.
Author, Andrew Sheldon

Global Mining Investing is a reference eBook to teach investors how to think and act as investors with a underlying theme of managing risk. The book touches on a huge amount of content which heavily relies on knowledge that can only be obtained through experience...The text was engaging, as I knew the valuable outcome was to be a better thinker and investor.

While some books (such as Coulson’s An Insider’s Guide to the Mining Sector) focus on one particular commodity this book (Global Mining Investing) attempts (and does well) to cover all types of mining and commodities.

This week, two thirds of Parliament voted for marriage equality.

This is a victory, not just for people who are gay, lesbian or have different gender identities, but for our democracy.

I am proud that all 14 of our MPs voted to support this bill and I'm looking forward to the day that this law passes and all adults in New Zealand are able to marry the person they love.

Kevin Hague, Green Party MP

Human rights: Immigration

Green Party minority view - Immigration (asylum detention) Bill
Blog post by Jan Logie

The stated purpose of this bill is to effectively manage the mass arrival of irregular migrants and to make New Zealand a less attractive destination for people-smugglers. The examples given by the Minister prior to the introduction of the bill, of a freighter carrying 500 asylum seekers that made it to Canada and a recent boat entering Australian waters saying they wanted to come to New Zealand, do not make a mass arrival by boat in New Zealand any more likely.
